I don’t get a lot of quiet moments in my life (I mean, I have 4 kids, so that says it all)…

…but it’s only been the last few years that I have started to pause and really check in with “really” makes me happy in my life.

About what how important it is that my family remains healthy, you know?

Maybe it’s because a few years back we were struggling with lots of health challenges in our family….anxiety, allergies, eczema, auto-immune condition, seizures.  Yes, between the six of us we were in a pretty tough place health-wise for a while.  Can you relate to any of this?

And today, I want to nudge you to stop settling for “just okay” health.

This week’s inspiration, if you’re willing to get creative with me, is to look at a quick strategy to boost your family’s nutrition especially during this holiday season.

SO, here’s the deal…it can be really simple to add nutrient dense foods into your family’s meals.

This week I share the importance of fiber, which is a powerful detoxifying nutrient.  It allows our bodies to eliminate excess toxins and stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol that spike when we eat sugary foods.

This video shares 3 simple ways to include fiber in your daily meals by adding legumes or beans.

It requires you to have a plan and understand the benefit it is providing to your health.  Let go of the excuses that your kids won’t eat beans and find a creative way to try something new!

Your assignment is to come up with a creative way to add fiber into your family’s meal at least once a day.
